We've Come So Far!

Yesterday we hit $30,000 raised! And today we were featured in Inc Magazine!

Great work everyone! I'm so thankful to all of you, our backers, for how far we've come. If you believe in this mission, become the loudspeaker for our project. Colors?!

Colors!

Thank you backers! You have made this project so much fun! All your great feedback and support has been awesome!

The question you have asked me most often ( and the one that I have punted on the longest :) is Colors?

Well now it’s choosing time!

First the fabric

When I was in China last year getting our first 100 prototypes fabbed I scoured all the fabric manufacturers I could find and came home with more than 400 different types of backpack material each having 20 or so colors for roughly 8,000 fabric/color combos to choose from! Here is what samples from one factory look like :)

The good news is that I have gone through every single fabric systematically and I have selected two that are durable, waterproof and absolutely gorgeous! I know you will love our fabric! The plan is to use one material for trim and the other material for the body.

Color

With the help of a designer I was able to narrow down to a few color combinations for us to vote on. I am hoping you will like all of them as much as I do.

Orange!

 Green!

 Blue!

 Purple!

 Pink!

 Red & Black!

How many choices will we have?

Great question!

I am in negotiations with the factory now to find out minimum order quantities to have more than one color combination. In a couple days I should know what our stretch goals need to be in order to get 2 and maybe even 3 color choices. I will let you know what I find out in the next update.

One thing is certain. More volume gives us more color choices. So please, please, please share LiftRider!
