Does a DSLR camera fit?

LiftRider’s top compartment is made like a pro camera bag. And it fits a DSLR with even quite a long lens. Here is a pic with my rather large Nikon D810 and a 300mm lens. https://goo.gl/photos/KjSoNbiSCbiYQMmf9

I have it set flat so you can see the camera better. But it fits even better on its side and an additional divider tos support the long lens. LiftRider comes with two velcro dividers that you can set up anyway you wish.

Phil Pugliese likes to carry a gopro, dslr, and video camera. Here is how it fit for him: https://goo.gl/photos/SU8qZ3MWq4MRRgqd9

What about ski / snowboard carry straps?

We got a few requests in the process of designing LiftRider for Ski Carry.

After talking to all of the users who tested our 100 prototype packs this season we decided not to add them. Here is why:

People who hike have a pack that they really like for carrying their skis. We felt that they would compare anything we created for LiftRider to their technical back country pack and not be ecstatic.

People who ski back and side country often like to carry a shovel, probe, etc. We felt that adding these would take us far from the essence of LR which is to be the most comfortable pack you will ever find to carry all that stuff you normally jam in your pockets on an ordinary ski day on piste.

The vote was pretty unanimous from the people who purchased our first 100 packs not to add any additional expense for ski carry which they would likely never use.

Colors?

Please see this update regarding colors: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1806017810/liftrider-worlds-best-ski-backpack/posts/1943281

Here is the deal. If we can sell 100 more packs before mid August when production starts we will get all 4 color choices from the factory. Otherwise we need to eliminate one of the colors: orange, blue, or grey.

Colors?

Please send me pics of backpacks online where you love the colors. We will pull together a visual of color combination possibilites and ask all backers to vote on their favorites. Hopefully we will have enough volume to offer more than one color combo. Last updated: Mon, May 1 2017 4:41 pm EDT

International Shipping?

I did not add shipping to other than Canada and the US as options because costs vary dramatically from country to country. For example shipping to Netherlands would be $110 for 1 pack or 2 packs. It would be $130 for 3 packs. $145 fro 4 packs. If you would like for me to check shipping cost to your international address please just message me. If you ok with the cost then you can just order for US delivery and I will charge you the difference in shipping cost when it comes time to ship. Last updated: Thu, May 4 2017 10:53 am EDT

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
